PG&E Named One Of America's Best Corporate Citizens

SAN FRANCISCO, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has once again been named to the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list – a comprehensive ranking of Russell 1000 publicly held U.S. companies that best advance corporate responsibility and sustainability through disclosure, policy and performance. This is the sixth consecutive year that PG&E has been included in the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list.

To identify the 100 Best Corporate Citizens, companies were evaluated on 298 data points of disclosure and performance in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and philanthropy. Selected companies successfully demonstrated, through publicly available data, their robust efforts to drive disclosure, policy and performance in these categories.
