ATLANTA, Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PGi (NYSE: PGI), a global leader in virtual meetings for over 20 years, was included in America's 2012 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces List released by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for the second year in a row.  Each year, the Foundation announces a list of employers with the best adoption benefits in the nation based on the maximum amount of financial reimbursement and paid leave for employees who adopt. This year, PGi was ranked number one in the communications and telecommunications industry.

Adoption benefits are one of the easiest benefit policies a company can offer and are becoming more popular. In Aon Hewitt's annual survey of 1,000 major U.S. employers, only 12 percent offered a financial adoption benefit in 1990. This year, 56 percent of employers reported offering a financial adoption benefit.
