Phase One Expands into the Private Sector

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Phase One (www.pocg.com) announced today that Malcolm Jackson has joined the global IT firm as the Vice President of Private Sector to increase its presence in the commercial arena and expand its strategic offerings. Jackson was previously appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as the Environmental Protection Agency's Assistant Administrator for the Office of Environmental Information and Chief Information Officer.

Jackson is responsible for helping clients establish their strategic vision for using new technologies in support of larger company goals. His focus will be on IT solutions that support the bottom line through new efficiencies and improved analytics including platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and cybersecurity.

Jackson has held various senior-level positions at General Dynamics, Quaker Oats, Monsanto, and Shell Oil Company. He was most recently the Chief Technology Officer for Fostersoft, Inc., where he was responsible for designing new client technology to meet the challenges of an ever-changing business environment.

Jackson holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. degree from Jackson State University.
