PHG Energy Adds Michael Childers As New Corporate Board Member

Childers, currently president of Bernhard Energy in Baton Rouge, LA, has made significant career achievements in the development of entrepreneurial growth companies, including Synergy Renewables, a BP Capital backed venture focusing on waste-to-energy projects in the Caribbean and Latin America. He also served as president and CEO of Solar Systems, a concentrated solar power technology from Australia.

PHGE has installed 13 units to date, and currently has two sustainable waste-to-energy plants under contract utilizing the company's patented downdraft gasification technology to convert biomass-based material into clean synthetic fuel gas. The newest municipal plant in Lebanon, TN, is scheduled for completion this fall.

Aries Energy, PHGE's solar division based in Knoxville, TN, was recently awarded contracts for a 1.3 megawatt community solar array near that city and is expected to bring the system on line in 2016. This innovative concept allows individuals to share ownership in a large solar installation that is not on their property.
