Initiative commemorates American scientist, botanist, and inventor, George Washington Carver to promote Conservation of North American Wildlife and their Habitats
WASHINGTON, April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 23, FWS Director Dan Ashe will join Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. President Jonathan A. Mason for an historic MOU signing. The partnership establishes a broad framework for engagement of urban youth in outdoor physical recreation through the "Let's Move Outside!" program and in hands-on science activities to promote interest in the biological sciences. The initiative commemorates American scientist, botanist and inventor George Washington Carver.
