Amassing over forty years of experience in the field of Psychiatric Nursing, in his current capacity Phil serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the MidMichigan Alpena Medical Center – Behavioral Health Sciences. Throughout the course of his career, Phil has gained expertise within the areas of the provision of psychopharmacology medication reviews. Attributing his success to his avid dedication to his work and his endurance, Phil is an expert in the field of Psychiatric Nursing.
Throughout the course of his education and training, Phil attained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, in 1972. Thereafter, Phil went on to attain both his Nursing Diploma from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan and his Master of Science degree in Nursing – with a concentration in Adult Psychiatric Nursing at Wayne State University in 1982.
To further his professional development, Phil is an affiliate of several organizations including the International Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
In recognition of his professional accolades, Phil has been a featured member of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.
Charitable to various organizations, Phil is involved in 12-Step Recovery Programs.
When he is not working, Phil enjoys spending time at the beach and on Lake Huron, as well as riding bikes with his wife.
