Phire Group announces new BonPhire initiative for Michigan-based Nonprofits.

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Phire Group, an independent Branding and Creative Agency, announced their new BonPhire initiative today. BonPhire was created to equip and empower one Michigan-based Nonprofit annually with marketing and creative expertise so they can make the largest impact possible. BonPhire expands Phire Group's commitment to being an active community partner by providing a suite of creative services to one organization free of charge.

"We have had the enjoyment of working with fantastic national and Michigan-based for-profit and nonprofit partners since our beginning in 2004. We help our partners build great communities around their brands," said Jim Hume, Principal at Phire Group. "We have an opportunity as an independent, Michigan-based business to help improve the lives of Michigan residents by providing our services for free through this initiative to one Nonprofit annually, so that they can have the biggest possible impact through the good work they do. Our goal is to have the success of this program reverberate throughout the communities in Michigan the Nonprofit serves."

Three finalists will be chosen from the submissions received and will have the opportunity to present in front of the Phire Group team in early January. A winner will be announced the week of January 23 and the engagement will commence soon after.  Phire will dedicate 200 agency hours, approximately a $30,000 value, toward the discovery, creative and planning phase. The final reveal of Phire's work will be unveiled to its new partner during an evening celebration at their offices in Downtown Ann Arbor. Phire will remain active with the organization through the implementation phase and provide continuing consultation through the number of hours left allotted.  

Interested organizations that meet the criteria can submit an application for consideration by Friday, November 18. To be considered, an organization must be a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) with at least two years of registered status and engaged in social justice, environmental, educational, public health or arts related work. Phire Group is seeking organizations that have a clearly defined mission statement, a well-articulated theory of change and at least 3 fulltime employees.
