PHOTO:JAPAN Gallery Fundraiser Taking Place on May 6, 2011

VENICE, Calif., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- R&W Creative Group and M.A.D.E., in collaboration with J1 Studio and YPOC.com, announce PHOTO:JAPAN, a one night gallery opening benefiting Save the Children's relief efforts in Japan.

PHOTO:JAPAN is inspired by the photography wall that has developed in Otsuchi Japan, one of the cities hardest hit, by the March 11th tsunami. As villagers search through mounds of rubble they are finding photos and they are posting them to a wall in an attempt to return memories to their rightful owners. Our PHOTO:JAPAN wall is a reminder of our ties to the hurting people in Japan. As visitors, many of us have experienced their culture, and now as viewers of this piece, we can give back.  On the night of the event if you feel connected to a particular image, or if you simply like a particular image drop a donation with one of our hosts and take a photo with you. The wall will be comprised of both small prints and large format PhotoGiclZe™ canvas prints.

The gallery, located at 1118 Abbott Kinney, Venice, CA 90291 will be open May 6, 2011, from 6pm to close.
