PhotoPlus 2012 Conference Seminar Schedule Announced: Photography Education And Inspiration Remains Primary Focus

NEW YORK, Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Nielsen Photo Group (NPG) today officially announced the schedule for its expansive series of educational seminars during the PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo -- October 24-27, 2012 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.  Built on a tradition of education and excellence, this year's seminar program continues that tradition by providing cutting-edge content for the evolving needs of photographers and imaging professionals.

The educational conference begins on Wednesday, October 24 when the Nielsen Photo Group's Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) presents WPPI University, a one-day series of seminars designed to sharpen creative and business skills for photographers who want to break out on their own.  The WPPI University conference pass ($99 online/$139 onsite) includes access to eight seminars featuring tips, techniques, and insight to marketing your brand, promoting your services, and building a successful photography business.  Attendees who register for WPPI University will also receive a 3-day pass to PhotoPlus Expo (Oct 25-27) and complimentary admission to all keynote presentations.

The PhotoPlus Conference offers more than 90 educational seminars and hands-on labs for attendees to hone their skills, learn new techniques, and participate in discussions with some of the most respected, successful and visually creative photographers and digital image-makers in the world.  This year's seminars will be conducted by many of the world's most respected and successful imaging professionals including Gregory Heisler, John Paul Caponigro, Mary Virginia Swanson, Corey Rich, Bambi Cantrel, Chris Rainier, Ed Kashi, Julianne Kost, and Michael Grecco, to name a few.
