Pickleball Kingdom Expands to Greater Atlanta Area

ATLANTA, Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Pickleball Kingdom, the world's largest indoor pickleball entity, continues its expansion in Georgia, bringing a new premier indoor pickleball facility to Greater Atlanta, serving Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Duluth. Franchisees Khurram Thobhani and Manisha Panjwani will lead this exciting development, bringing top-tier indoor pickleball to one of the region's most dynamic communities.

"We're excited to bring Pickleball Kingdom to the Greater Atlanta area," said Ace Rodrigues, Founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom. "Khurram and Manisha's passion for community and commitment to excellence make them the perfect team to lead this expansion."

Pickleball Kingdom, renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and emphasis on fostering a vibrant community atmosphere, is actively seeking a location across the Greater Atlanta area of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Duluth, to create the ideal environment for players and spectators. Once finalized, this club will feature climate-controlled indoor courts, inviting lounge areas, and comprehensive training programs designed to elevate the player experience.

The Greater Atlanta club will offer:

• State-of-the-Art Indoor Courts: Ensuring perfect play conditions year-round.
• Professional Coaching and Clinics: Programs tailored for all skill levels.
• Youth Development Programs: Inspiring the next generation to engage with the sport.
• Leagues and Tournaments: Competitive opportunities for every level of play.
• Community & Corporate Events: A welcoming space for social and business gatherings.

"We truly believe Atlanta is missing this in its fabric today, and the fact that we have the chance to bring it home is priceless," said Manisha Panjwani. "I think we are done working—and what I mean by that is, when you love what you do, they say it won't feel like work! That's the most exciting part about this."

Khurram Thobhani added, "The idea came to me firsthand after countless rainy weekends where I just couldn't find an indoor court to play. It dawned on me—here's a clear need, which in business translates to an opportunity. By bringing Pickleball Kingdom to North Atlanta, we are giving the community exactly what it needs—an indoor space to play whenever you want, rain or shine, with friends, neighbors, and fellow pickleball enthusiasts."

"We're excited to have Khurram and Manisha join our growing family of franchisees," said Rob Streett, COO of Pickleball Kingdom. "Their leadership and dedication to growing the sport will help make Pickleball Kingdom a key part of the local community."

Manisha and Khurram Thobhani are excited to tap into their entrepreneurial roots and build a legacy for their family and community. As first-generation Americans, their values align with Pickleball Kingdom's mission to foster a sense of family through a shared love of fitness. Khurram, an avid pickleball player, is passionate about how the sport connects people of all ages, while Manisha, a mom and creative raised in a family-owned business, is eager to pour into this new passion. With over 15 years of business experience, a Carolina MBA, and a UGA business degree, they are ready to bring the best of pickleball to Atlanta.
