AmericInn—the largest midscale hotel brand in the upper Midwest—is inviting adventurous travelers to enter a selfie or other type of photo from their wildest, wackiest, most wonderful summer travels.

From the world's only corn palace (Mitchell, S.D.), to the world's largest concrete gnome (Ames, Ia.), to statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox (various locations), there are plenty of off-the-beaten-path locations, unique events and small-town festivals to see and enjoy, and AmericInn wants to be part of the fun.
Original photos from anywhere in the world—or anywhere else you can get to—can be submitted online at www.AmericInnAdventure.com. Daily winners will be selected from June 1 through Aug. 31. Each winning entrant will receive a free night's stay ($200 value) at any of more than 200 AmericInn locations in 24 states. Up to two people identified in each winning photo will also receive $50 gift certificates good at AmericInn locations.
AmericInn also has created an adventure directory to help travelers plan their wild, wacky and wonderful trips. The directory provides details on nearly 200 unique attractions located in the shadow of an AmericInn. Entrants may also create a digital postcard with their photo on the contest website.
Photo entry winners will be selected based on the uniqueness, creativity and fun reflected in the photos. Photos may be from anywhere and do not have to be recent. Complimentary stays must be taken by Dec. 31, 2015. State laws prohibit participation by residents of California, Florida and New York.
