Pilot Flying J Brings 'Best Coffee on the Interstate' Home

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The first thing you probably reach for to start your day is a hot cup of coffee. It's a safe bet, considering 83 percent of Americans drink coffee, and coffee drinkers enjoy an average of three cups per day. That's 587 million cups of coffee consumed daily in the United States.

Building upon its successful coffee offerings, Pilot Flying J is entering a new market with the introduction of take-home bags and single-serve packs of its best-selling Pilot House coffee blend. As of Nov. 1, these take-home options are available in all Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas nationwide. The price is $5.99 for either a 10-ounce bag or eight-pack of single-serve coffee cups, which are compatible with most Keurig machines.

The home-brewing options complement several other coffee initiatives for the company, including adding its first single-origin blend – Brazilian Blend coffee – to its year-round offerings. This fall, Pilot Flying J unveiled new company logos and branding, and the updated look includes its coffee cups.
