Pinecrest Completes Strategic Sale of Mobius to Varian
Pinecrest Serves as Exclusive Financial Advisor to Mobius Medical Systems
DALLAS, Feb. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinecrest Capital Partners ("Pinecrest"), a Dallas-based investment banking firm serving middle market companies, is proud to announce that Mobius Medical Systems, LP ("Mobius"), a leader in radiation oncology quality assurance software, has been acquired by Varian Medical Systems, Inc. (NYSE: VAR) ("Varian"). Pinecrest served as the exclusive financial advisor to Mobius in this transaction.
Mobius is a market leader in radiation oncology quality assurance ("QA") software and currently licenses its software to over 1,000 radiation treatment centers, including some of the most well-known and respected facilities worldwide. Nathan Childress, Mobius' founder and CEO, and employees will continue to expand Mobius' network of clinics and advanced product portfolio alongside Varian following the transaction.
