"It is exciting to be on the front end of something that will advance skin and wound care in the Asia Pacific region by as much as 10 years," stated McCord. "The quality of care currently being provided in the Philippines is excellent from a standard of care perspective. We were able to demonstrate to Filipino physicians and nurses how small molecule technologies and advanced skin and wound techniques can reduce healing time and, more importantly, can limit or eliminate the development of costly wounds such as pressure ulcers."
