Pittsburgh Haunted House Goes Underground and Over The Line

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- One of America's best haunted house attractions returns on Friday, September 27^th with three terrifying haunts for one price... and something new for adult fright fans looking for even more extreme thrills.

The Basement, which allows only one or two guests to enter at a time, promises a terrifying experience unlike anything experienced at traditional haunted houses or hayrides.  This new experience involves adult content, explicit language, crawling, handcuffs, and physical contact with disturbing characters in disgusting situations. All customers must be 18 years or older and are required to sign a waiver before entering.

"In the main haunted house guests have the security of knowing the actors won't touch or restrain them," said Scott Simmons, Creative Director and co-owner of The ScareHouse^®. "The Basement does not offer those luxuries.

Entrance to The Basement comes at an additional price and is not included with regular ScareHouse admission. Purchasing in advance from www.scarehouse.com is highly recommended as this attraction may sell out frequently.

Both The ScareHouse^® and The Basement are open on select dates from September 27 through November 2.  Hours are 7pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 7pm to 10pm on all other nights.
