Positive response leads to offering of Internet session
HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Due to the overwhelming response to the Tavern Gaming License Informational Sessions being held by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and other state agencies, the session scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in Pittsburgh will be made available on the Internet via a live webinar.
The informational session, which will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton – Green Tree, begins at 1 p.m. Those who are unable to attend but would like to participate online must pre-register for the webinar by visiting http://cmsmedia.state.pa.us/events/plcb/11611/registration.asp.
Once registered, webinar participants will be able to view a live feed of the Jan. 21 event on a computer, ask questions during the session's question-and-answer period and print the documents session attendees will receive.
To attend any of the remaining seminars in person, interested individuals are encouraged to visit www.lcb.state.pa.us and follow the link under "Licensees," then "Tavern Gaming" to register. At the conclusion of all seven seminars being held across the state, a video of the Harrisburg session will be posted on the PLCB website.
The informational sessions are intended for taverns interested in Tavern Gaming Licenses only; small games of chance distributors, club licensees and eligible organizations are discouraged from attending and are instead encouraged to visit www.revenue.state.pa.us/SGOC for information on how Acts 90 and 92 of 2013 impact them.
Anyone with questions regarding the informational sessions is encouraged to call (717) 783-8250.
