Sundeep Madra was previously Chief Technology Officer, Mobile at Pivotal, and joined Pivotal after Xtreme Labs, the company he co-founded, was acquired in 2013. He grew Xtreme Labs to over 300 employees, focused on building modern applications for leading global companies and, as CTO of Mobile, helped ensure that Pivotal Cloud Foundry is one of the industry leading platforms for delivering mobile solutions.

Gavin Sherry is an instrumental engineering leader at Pivotal and has in-depth knowledge of Pivotal's SQL, MPP, in-memory and Hadoop products. Gavin pioneered many of the innovations at the core of Pivotal's Big Data Suite. Prior to Pivotal, he served as Director of R&D at EMC-acquired big data startup Greenplum where he led efforts around the Greenplum Database.

Mark Dunlap is an innovator in large-scale data and SQL processing, having joined Pivotal via Greenplum. Mark co-authored the VLDB-09 MADSkills paper describing an innovative approach for extracting business value from large-scale data leveraging SQL-based analytics and tools. Previously, Mark led data warehousing and analytics efforts at Amazon.com and formed the Advanced Technology Group at Informix Software.

Sudhir Menon is one of the key architects for both GemFire and SQLFire and has managed the engineering team that built GemFire for the last eight years. As head of R&D for GemFire, he has been responsible for product delivery and has worked closely with industry constituents to further the adoption of in-memory technology in the enterprise. Sudhir holds multiple patents in the areas of scaled up networking systems.
