Planon Demonstrates Global Facility Management Thought Leadership

Planon, the global leader in Integrated Workplace Management Systems IWMS) software, announced that David Karpook, Strategic Business Consultant, has been named chairman of the Real Estate Advisory & Leadership Community with IFMA; Anne-Marie Kleiss, Director Marketing Operations & Field Marketing Europe, was appointed a board member of marketing communications with the Facility Management Netherlands (FMN) association; and Erik Jaspers, Strategy and Innovation, was named a member of the "GEFMA Working Council CAFM". Each of these organizations play a leading role in education and continuation of development and positioning of the facility manager.

​The Real Estate Advisory & Leadership (REAL) Community seeks to build and communicate knowledge and expertise on the practice of real estate as it affects real estate and facility management professionals, and to influence the practice of real estate management through its thought leadership. In addition to being the new chairman of this community, Karpook is also Vice Chairman of the Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate (OSCRE) and an industry expert of technology solutions for facility management and real estate.  

Additionally, Kleiss was recently appointed as board member MarCom of Facility Management Netherlands (FMN) association, the professional association for those interested in facility management in the Netherlands.

Jaspers was appointed member of the "GEFMA Working Council CAFM". This interdisciplinary working council consists of university professors, software developers, suppliers, consultants and users who bring special CAFM-related trend topics forward and ensure the knowledge transfer within the German market.
