Platinum Luxury Auctions Looks to Continue Perfect Auction Record in Wellington
Firm to Offer Estate within Palm Beach Golf and Country Club at April Sale
PALM BEACH, Fla., March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum Luxury Auctions, a market leader in the non-distressed, auction sale of multimillion-dollar properties nationwide, has announced the upcoming auction of another property in Wellington, Florida. The property, a large estate home located within the prestigious Palm Beach Polo Golf and Country Club community, will be sold on April 10, 2015. Although previously offered for $4 million, the residence will now be sold to the highest bidder at or above a price of only $1.25 million. Platinum is cooperating with listing agent Martha W. Jolicoeur of Illustrated Properties for the sale.
To date, Platinum has maintained a perfect auction sales record in Wellington. The firm has been responsible for the sale of premier equestrian properties such as Two Swans Farm and Wild Orchid Stables. "I'm confident we'll add to that record on April 10th," stated Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's president and founder. "There is simply not another home within this desirable neighborhood that offers the pound-for-pound value of this estate."
The residence offers more than 6,100 square feet of interior living space, nearly 9,000 square feet of total living area, 5 bedrooms, and 5 and one-half baths. The home's floor plan is ideal for entertaining, with one, sprawling level of living space surrounding a central courtyard that features a pool, spa, summer kitchen, and various patios. Artificial grass and Chicago brick pavers give the courtyard charm while also minimizing maintenance. The estate also features a guesthouse, formal study with fireplace, and a 3-car garage.
The property's owner, Vanessa Symmons, is selling the residence in order to downsize and spend more time traveling and visiting her other properties. This is not Ms. Symmons's first publicized sale. In 2006, she sold a much larger property in Wellington for nearly $9 million to the family of former New York mayor – and the 13th wealthiest man in the world – Michael Bloomberg. Mr. Bloomberg's daughter, Georgina, is an accomplished equestrian competitor.
The estate is located in the Kensington neighborhood, considered one of the preferred areas within the larger Palm Beach Polo Golf and Country Club development. The Club is one of Wellington's finest residential communities, offering ample amenities and various membership opportunities (such as golf and social/tennis packages) to its residents. The Club also features two, 18-hole championship golf courses, two clubhouses, 8 polo fields, and 2 croquet lawns.
Beginning March 13th, property previews will be held by appointment every Friday through Sunday, between 12pm and 5pm, until auction day. Interested parties may visit WellingtonLuxuryAuction.com or call 1-800-286-4207 for additional details.
