TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT COMBAT-WOUNDED VETERANS

CHICAGO, Aug. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday, September 21, Accelerated Physical Therapy will host its first annual Accelerated Dodgeball Tournament. The tourney, which is currently accepting teams and sponsors, will be held at The Accelerated Center, a 97,000 square-foot sports facility located at 1900 Old Willow Road in Northbrook. All net proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

"This is Accelerated's first Dodgeball tournament; we decided to aim high and support a very worthy cause," said Eric Warner, CEO, Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers. "In anticipation of popular demand, we're bringing out all the bells and whistles, including prizes, drinks, vendors and a deejay—not to mention some great dodgeball. We hope to see an enthusiastic turnout."

Team registration is now open. Rosters may consist of up to 10 players (men and women at least 18 years of age). Games will feature six starters from each team competing against each other. Prizes will be awarded to first ($1,000) and second ($500) place teams. Tournament rules and additional details are available here.
