PlayStation®Store Launches In Colombia And Peru

SAN MATEO, Calif., April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI) and Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) announced today the launch of PlayStation®Store in Colombia and Peru on PlayStation®4 (PS4™), PlayStation®3 (PS3™) and PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) systems and the web through the Sony Entertainment Network Store.

Colombia and Peru are the fifth and sixth countries in Latin America to enjoy digital content from Sony Entertainment Network offering a great variety of digital content to purchase and download, such as games, game demos, and PSone™ Classics, among others. 

Users in the countries will also be able to subscribe to PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus) and enjoy the benefits that come with the subscription, including discounts from PS Store, access to free and new games via the Instant Game Collection™ for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, online multiplayer games on PS4, and more.  Users can select from 12-month, 3-month or monthly PS Plus membership options.

PSN users in Colombia and Peru will get access to a variety of content in PlayStation Store, and purchases can be made by using international credit cards. Gamers will have the option to view the store in English or fully localized in Spanish. Prices for the digital content are displayed in US dollar so PS Store visitors know that their transactions will be processed as international transactions.

PlayStation Store in Colombia and Peru will launch with more than 11,000 pieces of content for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita systems from Sony Computer Entertainment and various third party publishers. Similar to other regions, the Colombian and Peruvian PS Store content will be updated on a weekly basis.
