MINNEAPOLIS, April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Plus Relocation CEO Susan Schneider on Wednesday was named a 2017 Women in Business honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
The awards recognize 51 women for their professional achievements, leadership and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community. The winners include industry-leading executives and entrepreneurs.
Schneider has been with Plus for more than 25 years, putting her leadership skills and results-driven approach to use in moving the company forward. She served as president before being named CEO in 2016, which positions Plus for continued growth and success under her direction. Schneider also sits on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities, and both she and Plus Relocation are committed to numerous charitable efforts in the Twin Cities community.
"I am so grateful for this honor," Schneider said. "It means a lot to me to be recognized as a business leader in the Twin Cities, and to share this honor with so many other amazing businesswomen."
Schneider is a respected mobility industry figure, having previously served a two-year term as the president and chairwoman of the Worldwide ERC Board of Directors. She was inducted into the organization's Hall of Leaders in 2014.
Schneider also received an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Family Business category in the Upper Midwest last year, further showcasing her strong leadership and the success of Plus as a company.
"I'm proud of everyone at Plus," Schneider said. "We continue to grow and innovate, and I truly believe we're realizing our vision of being the world's best relocation company."
