Plus Technologies IP Holding GmbH is a start-up company based in Munich / Germany and was established in 2009. The company is developing a patented, environmentally friendly and ultimately energy-efficient sea water desalination technology that produces double output of distilled water at same energy input compared to existing thermal desalination processes and – instead of the environmentally harmful waste brine produced by Reverse Osmosis, Multi-Stage-Flash, Multi-Effect-Distillation – valuable and saleable purified technical brine as the basis for the generation of chemical raw materials and pure salt. The PLUS material separation technology can also be applied for the recovery of waste / dilute acids and bases and for the energy-efficient production of bio-ethanol.
