PM Pediatrics Announces First-Ever Pediatric Urgent Care Medicine Fellowship Set to Launch July 1, 2012

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PM Pediatrics, an award-winning provider of after-hours pediatric urgent care, today announced the launch of its new Pediatric Urgent Care Fellowship Program.  The one year program includes supervised clinical training at all PM Pediatrics sites, as well as rotations in Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Adolescent Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Toxicology, Emergency Medical Services, and Radiology. This independent fellowship in Pediatric Urgent Care Medicine at PM Pediatrics is the first of its kind and is set to begin July 1, 2012.

Dr. Wendy Graae has been appointed Fellowship Director for PM Pediatrics, overseeing all aspects of the program.  She completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center and served as the PEM fellowship director at New York Medical College from 1995 to 1998.  Dr. Graae joined PM Pediatrics in 2006 and has worked as an urgent care physician at the Mamaroneck, NY site.
