PODS Enterprises, Inc. to purchase assets of Storage Mobility, LLC, the nation's largest PODS franchisee

CLEARWATER, Fla., March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PODS Enterprises, Inc. (PODS), the moving and storage company, announced today that it has purchased all assets of Storage Mobility, LLC, the nation's largest PODS franchisee. Storage Mobility, LLC is a subsidiary of Andell, Inc., a private investment firm and family office based in Los Angeles, California.

The purchase continues the moving and storage company's focus on owning and operating more of its local markets. Storage Mobility's 21 markets increases the total number of markets purchased in the last three years to 39.

PODS currently employs approximately 900 associates and will be joined by more than 100 Storage Mobility associates. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
