Point Blank Enterprises Pays It Forward in Honor of Young Boy's Fundraising Efforts to Provide Police Officers with Vital Body Armor

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Point Blank Enterprises ("Point Blank" or "PBE"), the worldwide leader in the production of soft body armor and related protective solutions, will be honoring Officer Greg Milburn from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, recently shot in the line of duty and saved by his Point Blank body armor. In a special Saves Recognition ceremony to be held on Wednesday, September 3^rd in Indianapolis, Officer Milburn will be joined by 8 year old resident, Jacen Troxell, whose remarkable efforts to raise more than $15,000 to help purchase protective gear for police officers, will also be honored by Point Blank.

During the Saves Recognition event, individual plaques will be given to Officer Milburn and Jacen, commemorating their outstanding service to the Indianapolis community. Point Blank's Senior Vice President of Law Enforcement Sales, Hoyt Schmidt, along with the Company's representatives from RJ Wagner will also present Officer Milburn's and Jacen's families with a complimentary stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and indoor water park, as well as tickets to Kings Island Amusement park, located in Kings Island, Ohio.

Jacen's fundraising efforts have inspired the Indianapolis community to help buy more advanced protection for its police officers. These plates will be used specifically by North District officers who worked with Officer Perry Renn, recently killed in the line of duty. Jacen's dad is a detective at the Indianapolis Metro PD and knew Officer Renn very well.
