MOUNT POCONO, Pa., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Mount Airy Casino Resort, Poconos landmark destination, anticipating the launch of table games Tuesday July 13, 2010, today announced the launch of its Asian Player Development program including the addition of Edwin Chou, Director of Asian Player Development.

Mount Airy's new Asian Room is inspired by authentic Asian designs, colors and a red and gold dragon motif and decor, designed by Betty Ann DeNaples, wife of the resort's founder, Louis, and interior designer Marcella Revell. The room features a grand Chinese columnar entrance, a noodle bar and games such as Pai Gow and Baccarat.

Casino marketing veteran, Edwin Chou brings 18 years experience to Mount Airy Casino Resort. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives of the recently established Asian Player Development program. Prior to joining Mount Airy, Chou was the Asian Marketing Executive at Caesars Hotel & Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J. Before his tenure at Caesars, Chou was the Director of Asian Marketing at the Tropicana Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J. following experience as an Executive Host at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, also in Atlantic City, N.J.
