Polaroid Fotobar Brings Digital Photos to Life with Grand Opening of Two Micro-Retail Stores in San Jose

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Just as Polaroid pioneered instant photography over 75 years ago, Polaroid Fotobar is reinventing how consumers interact with our digital photos today. The fun, new experiential retail concept is opening two locations in the San Jose area, with the first debuting today at Westfield Oakridge (925 Blossom Hill Road). Customers will experience the instant gratification of printing their memories and bringing them to life to decorate their world.

The new store, located near the food court next to Jamba Juice, is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Polaroid Fotobar at Westfield Valley Fair (2855 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Santa Clara) will open in mid-December on Level Two next to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.  Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. 

The innovative 300-square-foot micro-stores are instantly recognizable by their cube shape and iconic Polaroid Color Spectrum logo. Customers are invited to take a seat at the Fotobar and transform their pictures instantly - from their smartphone, Facebook or Instagram - into three different size Polaroid pictures which can be collected in unique Polaroid shadowboxes or other Polaroid picture accessories.  Professional and knowledgeable retail associates known as "Fototenders" are available onsite to help at every step of the way.
