PHILADELPHIA, July 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Political Storm, a bipartisan political news site and social media hub announced today the launch of their political site aimed at bringing people together through their online political community, giving Americans a social platform to voice their political opinions.
Political Storm teamed up with WPHT AM 1210 Talk Radio, CBS in Philadelphia to launch the station's first Become A Pundit contest, where listeners are encouraged to visit Political Storm, create a free user profile and post a column.
This is the first time WPHT AM is giving a listener the chance to become a pundit. If you write the winning column, you can be sitting in for the Republican during the RNC in Cleveland or the Democrat in the DNC in Philadelphia. The winning pundit on Political Storm will be featured on WPHT AM with Chris Stigall during the RNC and DNC.
"We want to change the political dynamic, by opening up the conversation," Jon Saltzman, Publisher and Co-Founder of Political Storm. "Political Storm is already attracting a lot of WPHT AM listeners and we're seeing a lot of thought-provoking articles on the site. It's going to be hard to chose just one writer to become a pundit for a day."
Political Storm is the first bipartisan political platform of its kind where writers, bloggers and everyday Americans can have a place online to share their political viewpoints and opinions, giving readers the tools and resources to write, post and share articles.
"Our mission was to create a platform that would allow people not only to read and watch the news, but to be the news and engage in healthy political dialogue from both sides of the aisle," continued Saltzman.
