Polk Audio Celebrates 40-Years Of High Fidelity With A New Look And Feel

BALTIMORE, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Polk Audio®, the Speaker Specialists®, announced today a plan to reinvigorate its brand presence as the Baltimore-based company celebrates its company's 40th anniversary as a leader in high-performance audio.

The distinctive brand and positioning, which includes a new logo and website, will engage all who enjoy music and video – from hardcore audiophiles who continue to enjoy their vinyl collection to those who have fully embraced the digital revolution.

"As we take stock of where we are as a company, we are quite proud of our achievements over the past four decades," explained Ben Newhall, Polk Audio's Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. Polk Audio worked with San Francisco-based Frog Design on the newest evolution of the logo and branding. These changes are part of a larger internal discussion of potential new products and markets, but the immediate goal is to present its current offerings to an increasingly diverse audience.
