Building upon the excitement surrounding the release of their first product, now called the Pool Buoy – Original, the family owned duo of Shade Science, LLC has expanded the product line with five new products. The Pool Buoy still remains the first and only floating umbrella tabletop that puts out seven feet of UVA & UVB rated shade to protect those lounging underneath. But Shade Science was able to improve the product in many ways, as suggested by enthusiastic and loyal customers!
Each Pool Buoy Plus umbrella now features added wind vents and a ShadeLoc™, which ensures a point of friction can be created between the tabletop and the bottom pole of the umbrella to keep it in place in windier conditions.
Shade Science improved the tabletop by upgrading the coloring of the entire tabletop unit from a basic white to a light gray or a light cream color specifically selected to coordinate with the new umbrella colors. The counterweight of the tabletop is now a fabulous bright blue so it is visible underwater.
And finally, the umbrella unit got an upgrade to a trendier market style umbrella in Harbor Blue, Key Largo and Coconut Cream.
