Pool Pleaser to Expand Sales to Federal Agencies, Will Seek GSA Schedule
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pool Pleaser, a full line pool products and service company, announced plans today to apply for a GSA Schedule and actively pursue federal contracts. Federal agencies established the Government-wide contract process to simplify procurement. Using the GSA Schedules Program (also referred to as Federal Supply Schedules [FSS] and Multiple Award Schedules [MAS]), agencies are able to purchase products and services directly from commercial suppliers. Pool Pleaser plans on expanding their distribution and sales to supply federal agencies with specialty pool chemicals, supplies, and energy saving mechanical pool products.
"As a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), the opportunity to service government accounts and introduce them to our green initiatives opens up significantly more markets in our surrounding area," states Jackie Arnault, President at The Pool Pleaser. She continues, "Getting our company on schedule and our products featured on GSA Advantage will expand our reach beyond the federal government to state and municipal agencies as they will be able to take advantage of our pool chemicals and energy saving heat pumps at set government pricing."
With a strong emphasis on newer energy efficient "Green" pool technology, The Pool Pleaser clients enjoy savings of a $100 a month in utilities by switching to variable speed pumps; LED pool lighting; high-tech iPhone monitoring applications; pool-side cameras; and salt chlorine generators. The Pool Pleaser maintains a vast inventory of chemicals, pool parts and pool equipment. Over the past quarter century, The Pool Pleaser has expanded to three stores in the greater Orlando area to better service their clientele: Pine Castle, Dr. Phillips and Lake Nona.
