Pop-Rock Artist Naponé Releases Debut EP: Gypsy Rose

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MVA Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of Gypsy Rose, the debut EP from Pop-Rock recording artist, Naponé (Nap-oh-nay). With a sound that is intimate, fun and energetic while maintaining a smooth pop sensibility, Gypsy Rose will introduce an exciting new voice into the music world.

Naponé's primary goal was to write an album that speaks to those who feel neglected and different.   He creates music to emphasize the point that it is ok to embrace your true identity, even if it's different from what's main stream or popular. 

Gypsy Rose is also the name of the lead single which Naponé calls "the heartbeat of the album."

Naponé's style and sound were inspired by a diverse collection of artists, ranging from the rhythm guitar work of Keith Richards, to the piano work of Andrew McMahon to Coldplay's melodic synergy of sound and lyrics.  Gypsy Rose represents a synthesis of all these diverse inspirations into one smooth, melodic and powerful album that will be the sound of Summer.

The album was written in the wake of a devastating breakup with his girlfriend of three and a half years.  After retreating to the island of Hawaii to find himself and rediscover a sense of harmony and peace, Naponé wrote the lyrics for his EP that speak not only to his heartbreak but also to his hope and his desire to keep moving forward and embrace every new sunrise. 

The 24 year old, New Jersey born artist has aspired to create music since the age of three and was mentored by his father, who deferred his own musical dreams to raise his family.

Naponé experienced tragedy as a young man, when his younger brother Nick took his own life in their family's home.  The experience made him realize that every moment of life is precious and made him decide to dedicate his life to music.

Other than music Naponé spends his time taking care of his other younger brother, Joseph "Goombats" Napoliello, who plays guitar and is involved with the production of Naponé's upcoming second album, "Volcanoes".  Family has always been of paramount importance in Naponé's life.
