Popsicle® Hits the Road to Bring Summertime Fun to Families Nationwide

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This summer, Popsicle® will bring the fun and nostalgia of its iconic treats to families nationwide through a coast-to-coast Popsicle® Pop-up Party tour.

Starting this month, Popsicle® will launch Pop-up Parties in towns across the country, starting on the East Coast with Pittsburgh, Boston, and Buffalo, then traveling West to bring good times to Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Kansas City, and finally, making its way to the West Coast with a culminating stop in San Francisco – the birthplace of the Popsicle® pop.

The Popsicle® Pop-up Party tour will stop at a variety of family-friendly venues along the way – from beaches, parks and sports events, to city landmarks and grocery stores. Families will be invited to join in on the fun and enjoy free samples of Popsicle® and Yosicle® pops, along with games and activities for the entire family, including a photo station with props and larger-than-life games.

Popsicle® is also giving consumers nationwide the chance to vote for the Popsicle® Pop-up Party to stop by their local area on the Popsicle® Facebook page at facebook.com/Popsicle beginning on June 20.
