Who & What:

You are cordially invited to celebrate American Honda Motor Company's return to the Port of Richmond, CA. The first vehicles have already been arriving and the operation is well underway. Officials of American Honda will be joined by Richmond business and community leaders to celebrate this milestone occurrence in bringing Honda back to Richmond.  The Honda Port-Of-Entry Project is programmed to bring in upwards of 200 jobs and is estimated to generate $85M to the local economy over a 15 year term.



When:

Tuesday, September 14, 2010, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Main Program begins promptly at 12:30 p.m.)



Where:

1311 Canal Boulevard, Richmond, CA at the Auto Warehousing Company (AWC) Facility. (East Hwy 580, exit at Canal Boulevard, go south on Canal Boulevard and into Point Potrero Marine Terminal). Proceed to the end of Canal Boulevard and follow the signs to event parking which will lead you to the perimeter road around the auto facility to the designated event parking area.

  • Honda vehicles recently driven off car carrier ship to port parking lot.
  • Honda Port of Entry Project Capital improvements including a new 84 rail car capacity facility, roadway improvements, berth upgrades, etc.
