Post Acute Medical Announces the Grand Opening of Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital of Thousand Oaks

SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Post Acute Medical (the "Company") today announced the opening of Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital of Thousand Oaks. Now receiving referrals and open for patients first week of March, the 34-bed, full-service rehabilitation hospital will employ just under a hundred outstanding team members.

The Company currently operates its flagship rehabilitation hospital, a 65-bed facility, in the Medical Center. The opening of 34 beds in Thousand Oaks and soon 40 beds in Westover Hills makes Warm Springs a regional referral center for patients with brain, spinal cord injuries, amputations and other medically complex diagnoses.

The hospital will feature a dedicated military unit with controlled access. The first of its generation among non-governmental rehab providers in San Antonio, Warm Springs is a Veterans Center of Excellence (VCE), proud to serve the rehab needs of the military and their families, and is an approved Tri-Care provider. The Thousand Oaks location was selected for this program due to proximity to San Antonio Military Medical Center (previously Brooke Army Medical Center) as well as the generous outdoor space which will be very conducive to healing for all patients served at the Thousand Oaks location.
