Engage for Good presented Silver Halo Award to Potentis Capital portfolio company Watertree Health® for its Make-A-Wish® Prescription for Good campaign for social impact in health
MIRAMAR, Fla., June 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Potentis Capital portfolio company Watertree Health and its nonprofit partner Make-A-Wish were honored with a Silver Cause Marketing Halo Award in the Health Category at this year's annual Engage for Good forum held yesterday in Chicago. The Halo Awards are North America's highest honor for corporate social initiatives and cause marketing. Same category finalists include CVS & DoSomething for Quitters Always Win; Big Lots & Nationwide Children's Hospital for Give Big for Kids; and Equinox & Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for Ten Years of Impact: Cycle for Survival.
Five years ago, Watertree Health launched its prescription discount card, which has since saved people over $370 million on their prescriptions. In approximately half that time, the Company's Prescription for Good campaign has donated more than $2.4 million to Make-A-Wish to grant about 240 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Watertree Health supports Make-A-Wish as part of its mission to improve the emotional and physical health of individuals across America. Any time someone saves using a specially coded free prescription discount card, a donation is made to the nonprofit, at no cost to the consumer.
