POWER-GEN International Announces Record Attendance in 2012

TULSA, Okla., Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- POWER-GEN International, the world's largest conference and exhibition for the power generation and public utilities sector, announced a record-breaking attendance of nearly 22,000 attendees and 1,400 exhibitors at last week's event, held December 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.  Power professionals and executives from more than 75 countries gathered for three fast-paced days to hear the latest on technical, political and economic developments impacting the power generation market.

Also announced last week in acknowledgement of the 25^th anniversary of POWER-GEN in 2013, POWER-GEN International, NUCLEAR POWER International, Renewable Energy World North America Conference & Expo and POWER-GEN Financial Forum will converge in 2013 to formally present POWER GENERATION WEEK, providing exposure to every facet of the generation market – all under one roof.  Taking place November 12-14, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, POWER GENERATION WEEK will feature several new additions to the events, as well as total access registration opportunities for power professionals to benefit from all four events over the three days.
