Precise Launches TweetComms on Precise Media Platform

Precise, the UK's leading media intelligence provider, today announces the launch of TweetComms, a Twitter application for PRs available through the Precise Media Platform.

TweetComms enables users to engage more effectively with relevant journalists, commentators and companies by bringing together live Twitter feeds with Precise's researched lists and journalist contact profiles, all within Precise Media Platform.

TweetComms synchronises seamlessly with a user's Twitter account and is pre-configured with Precise's researched lists of influential PR and journalist commentators, so that new users can be up and running from the moment they access the service.

TweetComms integrates with the Connect media contacts analysis within Media Platform so users can immediately link through to journalist contact profiles by simply clicking on their tweets. Connect is a groundbreaking development that enables PRs to identify and connect with relevant journalists and commentators by dynamically linking media contacts with media content.

Twitter has become an essential media channel for both PRs and journalists. Analysis from Precise reveals over 50% of news and features journalists from UK national broadsheets and 35% from the tabloids actively using it to source comment and break news in real time. Journalists are also increasingly using Twitter as a platform to source comment from PRs.  From the broadsheets alone, there were over 3,500 journalist requests over the last 3 months, across a range of financial and corporate as well as consumer issues.
