PREIT Launches First-Ever South Jersey Restaurant Week

PHILADELPHIA, June 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT/NYSE: PEI) today announced it will host the first-ever PREIT South Jersey Restaurant Week at Cherry Hill Mall, Moorestown Mall and Voorhees Town Center from July 13^th – 20^th.

During the week-long promotion, guests will be offered special menus and/or pricing from an array of destination restaurants at all three of PREIT's southern New Jersey shopping centers (see full list of participants below).

PREIT was the first mall developer in the Philadelphia/South Jersey region to introduce the concept of a Mall Restaurant Week and debuted the event last year at Cherry Hill Mall. Recognizing the growing role of socialization and entertainment in both the dining out experience and the ever-evolving mall industry, this year PREIT launched the first-ever PREIT South Jersey Restaurant Week by expanding the event to include Moorestown Mall and Voorhees Town Center. In addition, the event will bring digital and social media into the mix, starting with a kick off preview event for local food critics and bloggers.

In addition, PREIT is excited to announce that the Company has partnered with Uber, which will sponsor the week-long event. Members of the local Uber team will be at Cherry Hill Mall and Moorestown Mall in June to promote their uberX offering, a safe, affordable and reliable service shoppers have come to want and need when visiting PREIT malls.
