PrimoHoagies commits more than $28,000 to fulfill holiday wish lists for 140 families, with special donation match weekends helping guests double their impact

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This holiday season, PrimoHoagies is once again turning hoagies into holiday cheer through PrimoCares, the brand's annual charitable initiative dedicated to supporting children and families in the communities it serves. Now in its 13th consecutive year, PrimoCares is committing more than $28,000 to fulfill holiday wish lists for 140 local children, helping bring joy and excitement to families in need this Christmas.

Guests can support the campaign through December 31 by rounding up their purchases in-store, online or in the PrimoHoagies app, or by making a donation online at www.primocares.org. Contributions will benefit local schools and community organizations, including C.B. Community School in Manayunk, St. Veronica Catholic School in Philadelphia and the Drueding Center in Kensington.

Doubling the Impact
This year, PrimoHoagies is making generosity go twice as far this holiday season with two special 100% donation match weekends, matching eligible customer contributions dollar-for-dollar to support children and families in need.

The donation match weekends will take place:

• October 30 – November 1, 2026
• November 27 – November 29, 2026

With the first match weekend kicking off this Friday, October 30, PrimoHoagies is encouraging guests to join in the spirit of giving and help make an even greater difference for children and families this holiday season.

Bringing Holiday Wishes to Life
Beyond the fundraising efforts, PrimoCares brings the spirit of giving directly into local communities. This holiday season, participating PrimoHoagies locations nationwide will spend more than $28,000 to purchase toys, clothing and other gifts for children in need. The gifts will fulfill holiday wish lists for 140 kids provided through local schools and community organizations, including C.B. Community School in Manayunk, St. Veronica Catholic School in Philadelphia and the Drueding Center in Kensington.

To bring those holiday wishes to life, the PrimoHoagies team will make special deliveries throughout the Philadelphia region, bringing gifts and holiday cheer to children and families ahead of the holidays, including serving lunch to students at St. Veronica Catholic School during a special holiday event.
