PrintWithMe Raises Seed Round To Fuel Nationwide Expansion
Mobile print kiosk company aims to disrupt personal printing market
CHICAGO, Nov. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PrintWithMe, a Chicago-based company building a network of mobile print stations in public spaces, today announced that it has closed $800,000 in seed funding. The financing is led by Network Ventures with participation from M25 Group, New Stack Ventures, Little Engine Ventures and several other Chicago and San Francisco-based investors.
PrintWithMe is revolutionizing the $10 billion personal printing market by placing its proprietary print/scan/copy/fax stations in widely-accessible locations such as coffee shops, residential buildings, college campuses, co-working spaces and hotels. The company currently has stations installed in over 120 locations has reached 20,000 customers. Notable location partners include 1871, Bow Truss Coffee Roasters, Greystar, the Lincoln Property Company in Chicago and The Bean and Pushcart Coffee chains in New York.
"PrintWithMe is a more convenient and cost-effective option than printer ownership for most consumers and remote workers," said Jonathan Treble, founder of PrintWithMe. "We see a big opportunity to leverage technology to turn printers into a shareable asset and bring print/scan/copy/fax capabilities to where people live and work."
PrintWithMe plans to use the capital to expand its sales, operations and technology teams, accelerate location growth, and establish partnerships with multi-unit businesses throughout the country.
"PrintWithMe provides its partners with an amenity that drives customers to its locations," said Jeff Maters, Managing Director of Network Ventures. "The technology makes it simple to use and requires only minimal involvement by the location partner employees."
PrintWithMe has locations in Chicago, New York and 17 other cities throughout the US. For more information and a map of their printing locations, go to www.printwithme.com or download the PrintWithMe iPhone app.
