Pro-Tech Energy Solutions Appoints Project Management Veteran, Mike Palladino, as Director of Solar Project Construction
BRANCHBURG, N.J., Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Pro-Tech Energy Solutions, LLC, today announced that Michael Palladino of Hamilton Square, N.J. has been appointed Director of Construction responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all solar projects for the turnkey energy solutions company.
Palladino brings to his new role more than 30 years experience in project management, product development, manufacturing, value engineering, as well as and product and process improvement, including eight years dedicated to the solar industry.
"Mike has been responsible for systems ranging in size from 10 KW to 25 MW for clients as diverse as Hall's Warehouse, Ortho-McNeil, DuPont, Cox-Manheim, Southern California Edison, Pennsylvania Power and Light, and the Philadelphia Eagles," said John Drexinger, principal at Pro-Tech Energy Solutions. Palladino has previously held positions at First Solar and WorldWater and Solar Corporation, where he was responsible for the design, engineering, and construction of large-scale photovoltaic electric generation and off-grid-capable systems ranging in size from 24 KW to 1.2 MW. His work has included the development and construction of revolutionary photovoltaic (PV) systems capable of providing full off-grid operational capability to agricultural irrigation systems as well as a municipal water treatment plant in the State of California. A holder of four U.S. patents, Palladino earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The College of New Jersey. In addition to having a strong hands-on background in electrical and solar PV systems, Palladino also has extensive experience in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, refrigeration, HVAC, testing, controls and agency certification.
