Professional Experience Anywhere but in the Office: Introducing the Golin Unternship Program

CHICAGO, Oct. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Imagine a post-grad internship that goes beyond the office cubicle and provides unforgettable experiences the way you want to do it. Introducing the Golin Unternship – an unconventional way Golin aims to attract new junior talent by giving graduates an opportunity to gain real world experiences to apply to their career.

A new extension to Golin's bold new "Go All In" approach, the Golin Unternship allows the "Untern" to glean skills from life experiences like hiking the Appalachian Trail, mentoring inner-city youth or guiding tours across the country – while sharing their insights in real-time with Golin and beyond.

Untern candidates will be tasked with devising their own unique and adventurous three-month Unternship program anywhere in the U.S. After three months, the Golin Untern will return to a full-time, paid position at Golin, filled with creativity and a fresh perspective on life.

Inspired by Golin CEO Fred Cook's book Improvise: Unconventional Career Advice from an Unlikely CEO, the Golin Unternship aims to unlock an adventurous spirit and fearless creativity of new employees at a critical point in their careers.
