Professional Fighters League and SRJ Sports Investments Sign Global MMA Investment Agreement

• Investment to propel PFL signing more top talent and star fighters

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia and NEW YORK, Aug. 30, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Professional Fighters League (PFL) and SRJ Sports Investments ("SRJ") today announce an investment agreement to accelerate PFL's momentum in expanding globally, recruiting top fighters, and building its fanbase as it aims to become the co-leader in MMA worldwide. 

As part of the agreement, SRJ has acquired a minority equity ownership stake in PFL and will become an investor in a new regional league, PFL MENA - due to launch in 2024, as well as supporting PFL's expansion in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region. Additionally, SRJ and PFL will develop and host the PFL PPV SUPER FIGHTS mega-events in Saudi Arabia.

PFL's plans to launch and develop six international regional leagues by 2026, creating the first ever "Champions League of MMA." PFL MENA will launch in Q2 2024, with the four-event sport-season format schedule announced this fall.
