ProHEALTH Care Launches Extended Hours Center Providing Access To Medical Services For Adults & Children 7 Days A Week

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ProHEALTH Care, the largest, independent, physician-run healthcare organization in the Northeast, announces extended hours exclusively for ProHEALTH Care patients seeking primary-care related medical care, offering one of the longest office hours of any healthcare group in the United States. The ProHEALTH Care Extended Hours Center, located at 1 Dakota Drive, Lake Success, New York, is open from 5pm to midnight Monday-Friday and 8am to Midnight on weekends, providing complete medical care access for all ProHEALTH Care patients 7 days a week. By providing this critical extension on nights and weekends, the Extended Hours Center extends medical care hours for all ProHEALTH Care patients, providing them with continual care from 8am to midnight, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Both ProHEALTH Care adult and pediatric patients will have access through the Extended Hours Center to ProHEALTH Care doctors 365 days a year, including holidays, and no appointment is needed at the center.  The service is an exclusive benefit to ProHEALTH Care patients, allowing them convenient access to a ProHEALTH Care doctor beyond the typical work day hours.

Doctors will have access to a patient's electronic medical record, providing them with the patient's full medical history, helping provide a more integrated approach to the patient's care.  The center is equipped to treat both routine medical issues for children and adults (such as colds, coughs, fever, flu, strep and sore throat; migraines, earaches and infections) as well as urgent medical needs that require immediate treatment (such as allergic reactions, cuts or lacerations, fractures and dislocations, sprains and strains, and insect and animal bites, among many others).  They even provide vaccines such as flu shots or Tdap shots. The center provides on-site testing and treatments such as EKGs, lab services (blood tests, urine tests, shots, etc.), X-rays, and IV treatments providing everything the patient needs in one location.
