Named one of the top wedding and event designers in New York City, David is responsible for staging some of the most talked about social and corporate events. He views event design as a combination of theater and art, drawing on his formal training in theater, television and grand opera. Combining tradition with inventive creations, David is an expert at incorporating a client's personal style into their event to create a memorable and unique occasion.

The Six Cs of Event Design
In his presentation on Sunday, March 13, David will reveal his "Six Cs" of the design process while outlining the tools his company uses to get a client in the door, keep them in the door, and send them back out happy.
Leadership Lunch: Making a Living & Retaining Your Sanity in Special Events
David will also speak at CSES2016's Leadership Lunch on Monday, March 14 at 12:30pm, sharing anecdotes from his experience curating top talent and leading a team to create countless masterpieces. In his presentation, Making a Living & Retaining Your Sanity in Special Events, he'll divulge best practices for leading in the catering and events industry. David will discuss strategies for balancing personal life with building and sustaining a creative business, including maintaining customer service excellence.

Within the competition's design parameters, contestants will transform an empty table into completely styled dining space for eight. Attendees can watch the contestants' progress on the Tradeshow floor between 11:00am and 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 15, and can vote for the concept winners on Wednesday. David will join a panel of judges to name a Mentor's Choice winner from the designers.
