Prospect General and Palomar Specialty Launch Private Residential Flood Program in California
LA JOLLA, Calif., Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Prospect General Insurance Agency has partnered with Palomar Specialty Insurance Company to offer Flood Guard, a private flood insurance alternative in California. Flood Guard is Prospect General's third specialty product launched in the market since its formation 11 months ago.
Flood Guard provides private residential flood insurance that uses an innovative pricing model and unique coverages to provide the market with an alternative to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Through its sophisticated rating algorithm and online platform, Flood Guard offers affordable coverage and the ability to quote and bind coverage in just minutes. In addition, Flood Guard offers coverage enhancements relative to the NFIP including dwelling coverage up to $5 million and personal property coverage up to $1 million.
