Prospera Honors Successful Local, Central Florida Hispanic Business Owners
Community gathers at annual fundraiser to celebrate entrepreneurship
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Three Central Florida Hispanic business owners were recently honored at the 2018 Prospera Success Stories Luncheon presented by OUC – The Reliable One. The economic development, nonprofit organization hosts the event annually to recognize notable clients and raise funds for its services. This year's theme was Built to Last, reflecting the strong foundation established by clients with Prospera's assistance, to help ensure their business success and longevity.
OUC Chief Operating Officer Jan Aspuru represented the Presenting Sponsor and stressed the utility company's support of small businesses, Prospera, and the Hispanic community. Guided by event master of ceremonies Paul Gamache, Univision Orlando news anchor and producer, the agenda also included speeches from Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, University of Central Florida President Dale Whittaker, Premier Sponsor Entravision Communications, and Host Sponsors Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Bank of America, Florida Blue, Orlando Health, Orlando Magic, PNC, SunTrust, and Wells Fargo.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Maysonet and his 10 employees offer from two locations expert chiropractic services and products in traumatic and sports injuries, orthopedic, wellness, rehabilitation and family care. - Denisse Lamas, Hispanic Family Counseling
This Puerto Rican employs 45 people in four offices, to help meet mental health services of Hispanics in Central Florida.
