Pulse Systems Adds New Management and Technical Personnel

CONCORD, Calif., Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pulse Systems announced today the recent addition of two key personnel, further strengthening the Company's position in the precision metal fabrication segment of the medical device contract manufacturing industry.

Joining the Company as Director of Operations, Brett Poole brings his years of experience in manufacturing management and customer service to his new position. Prior to joining Pulse, Mr Poole was General Manager of Fusion Composites in Benicia, CA, manufacturer of aerospace composite materials and components. Previously, Brett was Operations Manager for CCS Composites in Benicia, CA. In the weeks prior to joining the Pulse Systems management team, Mr. Poole was engaged as a consultant to the Company, orchestrating a very successful and rapid implementation of the JobBOSS shop floor control system. As Director of Operations, Brett will be responsible for customer service, order administration, material management, and production control. Mr. Poole received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Also joining Pulse Systems is Wen Ho, Ph.D., as Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Laser Processing. An excellent communicator, Dr. Ho has most recently been teaching college physics at DeAnza College and the College of New Jersey. Previously she had been employed by Abbott Vascular in Santa Clara, CA, with responsibility for developing laser processing methods and equipment for stent manufacturing. A distinguished researcher, Dr. Ho was a member of the technical staff at Sarnoff Corporation in Princeton, NJ, developing advanced laser/optical instrumentation. Earlier in her career, Dr. Ho was employed for eight years by Resonetics of Nashua, NH, where she helped establish their laser processing job shop capabilities. Wen Ho earned her doctorate in solid-state physics from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and her B.S. in Physics from Beijing Normal College in China.
